Numatic George
George has been around for decades and is a fantastic wet and dry vacuum. He is the most expensive of the wet vacuums in this article but comes with many tools.
- Dry Use - He comes with all of the dry tools and filter that you would get with a standard dry Henry.
- Wet Use - He also comes with a wet filter which has a float inside to cut off the suction when your dirty water tank gets too full.
- Wet Tools - Comes with a Carpet, Upholstery and Hard floor extraction tool for wet use.
- Shampoo Feed - the shampoo can be pumped from the internal tank to the carpet or upholstery tools that are controlled by a trigger.
Numatic Henry Wash
The Henry Wash vacuum is the newest release in Numatics wet vacuum range. This is a true wet vacuum with all of the wet features and tools that george has.. but comes with nothing to use him as a dry vacuum. This means he is a less money than George too.
- Dry Use - No. Henry wash only comes with the filter and tools to use as a wet vac.

Numatic Charles
Charles has also been around for years and is by far the lowest cost wet vacuum in this range. He isn't designed as a carpet shampoo machine. He has no shampoo tank or pump so is purely for extraction of liquids. He can be used as a wet vacuum to dry hard floors, suck up spills and unlock sinks.
- Dry Use - He comes with all of the dry tools and filter that you would get with a standard dry Henry.
- Wet Use - He also comes with a wet filter which has a float inside to cut off the suction when your dirty water tank gets too full.
But.....
- Wet Tools - Only comes with a hard floor tool for drying hard floors and spills
- Shampoo Feed - no... this model has no shampoo tank inside and will not pump shampoo. Not designed as an effective carpet and upholstery cleaning machine.
Note.. There is a new model now on the market called "Henry Wet & Dry"... he seems to have the same features as Charles so don't get him confused with the "Henry Wash" if you are looking for a carpet cleaning machine.
