Surprisingly easy to change over it took me about 30 minutes and a saving of £50 compared to buying the whole head unit. A win win in my opinion.

I take it that you have asked me how I am getting on with replacing the Henry hover hose on the head tool, because I have looked at your helpful video on how to do it.
Let me start from the beginning. About a month ago I noticed the hose had split on my Henry Quick. I contacted Numatic in Chard but was surprised that they don’t have a spares website. Looked on the internet and found a company who sold replacement hoses. So duly ordered one. As a retired engineer, when someone states that they sell Henry replacement hoses, I was expecting it to be the same ie fit, form and function. When I received the hose it was white, so did not conform to “form” for me. It took awhile for company to accept this as in their eyes it would replace my hose.
My Son then found your website, so I ordered the Hose from you although did not need the screwdriver (thanks for the 10% off).
Used your video to reassemble the head tool as it was awhile since I took it apart.
Had no problems fitting it, although I had removed the transparent panel. So that I could remove the hose and the end caps. On the video you did not do this, but for me it allows you to see the hose is fully screwed in. Henry is now fully working along side his two brothers. We are a three Henry hover household.

The replacement hose we supply is the clear/silver hose shown in our product photos. While it differs slightly in colour from the original darker Numatic hose, we’ve sourced it specifically as a good-fitting replacement for carrying out this repair.
Great to hear the fitting video helped too, and that your Henry Quick is now back up and running alongside his two brothers!

Henry’s original motor manufacturer is Ametek, and various wattage options are available. I fitted a 1050-watt Ametek motor myself. You really must get one – this 1,200-watt motor will practically turn your vacuum cleaner into a beast; it will be even more powerful than the old Henry, and its lifespan will be almost the same as that of the vacuum cleaner with the original motor.
Genuine Dyson part that fits and did the job. Previously bought items from other sellars that proved fake.... this is not.

I always thought that repairing a hoover was the sort of thing that was best left to professionals, until I watched the Vacuum Help diagnosis video on YouTube. It's full of practical advice, and explains things in such a relaxed, easy manner that I thought, "Yes! I can do this!" in spite of having no previous experience and a creeping distrust of electrical stuff. Got myself a multimeter, ran the test, then ordered the cable. I did consider buying from another seller since I thought I'd be hooverless for a couple of weeks, but I'd rather support this family-run business who prefer to keep old Henrys running than see them carted off to the dump. As it happened, the cable arrived a couple of days later and was a breeze to fit, thanks to Jonny's other video.
I originally bought my Henry when my son was a toddler since he too was obsessed - he's 32 now, and will be pleased that I've managed to save his old pal, with your help. Thanks a million!
