The hose arrived very promptly - so much so it was a couple of days before I could look at fitting it.
The glue that secured mine seemed different and didn't soften with a hairdrier so I used nail varnish remover. It still took time to remove the old glue though but it is essential to ensure the thread is clear of all debris.
Fitting the hose fully failed at the first attempt so it was time for a cup of tea and have a think. My solution was to use some vaseline in the thread. This time all went to plan and we have a happy Vax again.

These pack of 10 bags are great for my nuvac as they fit well and for compatible bags the filtration is great so i'll definately will be buying these bags again
Anyone can do this fix, even 'Dummies'. The video explains every move, so you can't go wrong. Watch the video a couple of times. Then when doing the repair yourself, pause the video, so that you don't get left behind.It is not rocket science. You are rewarded for not having had to throw away the whole brush unit and buy new. Great fix, very satisfying.
Nice quality hose at a great price. Together with the filter replacement it stopped our Henry from smelling like a wet dog and improved the suction dramatically. Really quick despatch and delivery, great service all round.
