Before Ordering – Check Your Belt
You can easily inspect the belt before ordering. Use a T10 Torx screwdriver to remove the 4 screws holding the end cap of the floor tool in place. Remove the end cap and check the condition of the belt.
A replacement belt is suitable if your existing belt has:
- ✅ Snapped
- ✅ Damaged or missing teeth
- ✅ Become visibly worn or damaged
⚠️ If your existing belt is simply loose, check the floor tool carefully before ordering. A cog problem can cause the belt to become loose. If this is the fault, fitting a new belt may not solve the problem.
Also make sure the brushbar spins freely before fitting a replacement belt.
How To Fit The Belt
Use a T10 Torx screwdriver to remove the 4 screws holding the end cap in place.
Fit the new belt over the motor cog first, then work it onto the brushbar cog while slowly turning the brushbar by hand. Once fitted correctly, refit the end cap and the 4 T10 screws.
Why Replace The Belt?
A damaged belt doesn't mean you need to replace the complete Henry Quick floor tool. If the rest of the floor head is working correctly, replacing the belt is a much cheaper repair.
